The Belle Isle circuit is a rough, technical course that tests driver and machine. With unpredictable cautions thrown into the mix, drivers have to run hard and smart all race. At the end of Race 1, Conor Daly challenged for the top spot and had to jump in for a splash of fuel, just missing out & taking a well-earned P2.
