2004 WRC - Australia - Round 16
After two full days of competition Australians were the dominating force in Telstra Rally Australia – the final round of the World Rally Championship, and local boy Dean Herridge is heading the pack! Herridge, lies in sixth place outright, and was the leading Group N car ahead of the Production Cup drivers! His team mate, Victorian Cody Crocker, supports the Subaru marque in ninth outright. Rising star Chris Atkinson was also breaking the international domination. The young Queenslander moved as high as sixth outright before a puncture dropped him down several places. He finished the day in eight place overall after an impassioned day’s drive.
